"Regina" is a 15.3 h American Warmblood dark bay mare by the Holsteiner stallion Regulus (Rapport - Franat) out of a Thoroughbred mare. This elegant mare has three lovely gaits with plenty of room for development in dressage. She has a super walk, a lovely canter that is easy to extend and collect, a powerful trot and fun half passes. Regina has high points, first placing and third-level regional championships qualifications on her resume. Regina was started, trained and shown up through Third level by one owner, earning her Bronze medal on this mare in 9 months with 75 in 1st lvl, 68 in 2nd lvl and 64.75 at 3rd. Currently schooling 4th level movements. Regina is a sensitive mare that presents the talent and trainability for a confident Adult Amateur to get their bronze medal and enjoy taking her up the levels! She is easy to sit and the perfect size for someone seeking a more manageable mount.
Regina’s first career in life was as a successful eventer at Training level, winning 5th place at the 2016 national championships. Recently she has settled into the dressage work nicely, and is being marketed to buyers that seek a versatile mare that will emphasize her dressage growth.
Regina has been pasture boarded with other mates and also stalled. She hacks out alone or in company. No buck, rear or bolt. Is suitable for a confident AA, as she is a sensitive type. Stands quietly for grooming, the vet, and the farrier. No vices. No maintenance issues. Vet records and xrays on file. Regina is a favorite at the farm and we will be sad to see her go!
